I'm Ítalo Queiroz, a CTO who still thinks like an engineer, but leads like an executive.

I wrote my first education platform in 2008, an LMS built to compete with Moodle. Since then I've built the e-learning system of the Brazilian Senate, which certified more than 500,000 students, worked on the federal student financing program, and co-founded Onawa, where I spent seven years as CTO.
I then chose to work with global teams, for clients like the NFL and Emerald Publishing, before coming back to education. Today I lead engineering at Tutory, a platform where teachers and mentors create and scale their courses and mentoring programs, with more than 1 million recurring students every year.
What I care about: teams that ship with autonomy, systems that evolve without stopping the product, and technology that actually helps people learn.
